Arts for Health organisation is a scientific and professional organization founded in 2002 by Sven Sandström, Professor emeritus in art, Britt-Maj Wikström, Associate Professor at the Karolinska Institute and Lars-Olov Bygren, Professor emeritus in social medicine. It is recognized as an organisation that supports healthcare professionals to improve the quality of healthcare through evidence-based Arts for Health research. In addition the organisation a forum for discussing diverse experiences related to human nature relationship, reflecting on the questions which arise from its members.
