An Art for Health and Education
group of researchers is concerned with the humanistic
functions of aesthetics. Art is and always has been one
of the most powerful instruments for producing good
experience of many different kinds. Music, painting,
movies, literature, drama and dance enlarge and
intensify sensory experiences and offers sources of
pleasure that can be described in words such as
emotionality and intensity. The Arts for Health and
Education group focus on the integration of human health
factors to arts.
We offer implementation of art program
based on research to be used in health promoting
activities. In education we can offer art program to
develop empathy, interpersonal communication and the
ability to “se?through careful observations of works of
art.
